We chose PACyber because traditional school wasn't working for Kyle. He was attending a local private boys school and we didn't consider our area public schools viable options. He has a combination of self-paced and virtual classes. The flexibility is one of the most appealing features of PACyber. As a result of our experience, more family members are looking into enrolling their kids for next school year.

My son, Bryce, has a December birthday. This means he misses the school cut off for Kindergarten. He was only 4 last September, but was already reading. We knew that if he had to wait another year to begin school he would be "that" kid who was always getting into trouble because he was bored. We didn't want that for him. Our search for alternatives brought us to PA Cyber and we couldn't be happier! Bryce completed K4 in one month and began Kindergarten. He is now on track to complete Kindergarten by the end of this school year! We are so happy to be a part of the PA Cyber family!

This is our first year with PA Cyber and I am very impressed. My older child's virtual classes have excellent teachers. As a parent when else can you see and hear every lesson that your child is hearing if you want to? I would challenge any teacher in private or public school to allow themselves to be video-taped for anyone to see for every lesson. It makes a difference. The opportunities to take many languages are wonderful! I am so thankful to be spending this precious time with them. They have learned more this year than any other simply because they have the time and resources and do not have the many distractions of a classroom of chidren. I taught in public and private school and I could not give my students the quality that you can at home with your own children. We are all healthier since we have time to prepare better meals. We exercise much more and my children have time to be in more social and sports activities in the evening. In many ways they now have more socialization because they can enjoy their time at night since they worked hard to finish it all during the daytime. This program works!

I was unhappy with the school I was attending. Every morning I would wake up and think “When will this day end?” I was getting ready for school one morning and I heard a commercial on the radio about the PA CYBER CHARTER SCHOOL. How the school was described and the way it caught my attention. Within a week I heard the commercial again and yelled for my mom to come and hear it. A few days later we researched and got an appointment with the Philadelphia office. A teacher and a student talked to my mom and I about the school, how it would benefit me, how it has helped that student and many more, and to hear how we have choices. I was so pleased to find that there was something for me, something that would help me. I left that meeting happy. I made a huge decision that night, I said “For the first time in so long I left a school smiling.” A few months went by and the new school year started, the first day of classes. That morning I woke up happy, not knowing what my classes would be like, not knowing what the teachers would be like; I still was happy, and I have been happy for the last 4 years.

Our eldest daughter tended to get overlooked in regular school. She's a good girl and doesn't cause trouble. We needed a school that supported her and gave her a great education too. Thank you PA Cyber for not only educating her but helping her make friends that share our values.

When I went to a "brick and mortar" school, I couldn't advance. I was always bored in class because I wasn't challenged enough. My school had its problems too; there was a lot of violence and bullying. I had a few friends that were in PA Cyber, and they told me about it. I realized that a "brick and mortar" school wasn't right for me. I needed a different approach on learning. Being home made me feel more comfortable getting an education. PA Cyber offered so much more than any other school could; from the highly qualified teachers to the many different choices in curriculum. It was and still is a perfect fit. I love PA Cyber! Honestly, every state should have something exactly like this. Its amazing how quickly word is spreading about PA Cyber! Thats what pulled us in. :)

We chose PA Cyber for our daughter (after extensive research and soul-searching) for 6th grade for many reasons. Our local middle school was inadequate academically and socially, our daughter has health problems that make attending traditional school very difficult, and we are concerned about the environment in all of our country's middle schools at the moment. After witnessing a severe increase in bullying and a decrease in moral and respectful behavior, we chose not to send our daughter into that "fire". We are very pleased so far. This is definitly the right option for her.

My son Noah was 4 years old and we wanted to put him in preschool since he is exceptionally smart. Our home school district did not have a preschool program or even a full day kindergarten program. We started looking at alternatives but parochial and private schools were cost prohibitive. I was driving home one day from dropping my wife off at work and heard a radio ad for PA Cyber Charter and decided to check into it. After interviewing and researching five other schools, I made up my mind on PA Cyber because the curriculum and staff best suited Noah's needs and learning abilities. Noah is so excited about starting school that he asks everyday if he is starting school yet. I am enthusiastic about this school because it means that I won't have to rush every morning to get him up and ready for school and then fight traffic to the school to get him there on time.
