PA Cyber Student Reflects on her Experience

camrie nell

As my final year of being in PA Cyberwraps up,I stillremember three years ago when I enrolled. I had so many emotions going from a public school to a cyber school, but I wouldn’t trade my choice of PA Cyber for anything in this world.PA Cyber gave me the individual attention each student deserves and helped guide me into self-discipline. Everyone in PA Cyber from the teachers to the students not only accepts you for who you are but makes you feel a part of a family. All of the teachers truly cared about my education and wanted to see me succeed. I am so thankful for each of my teachers but the one person who never gave up on me was my Instructional Supervisor Jade Kozlina. Jade stood by me from the beginning and to this day she is right by my side. She never gave up on me. She believed in me and made me believe in myself. I remember sitting across from Jade listening to her tell me that she isn’t here to tell me to do it just because it was her job but because she truly cared about me and my future. Jade Kozlina isn’t just a teacher to me, she’s a friend, she’s my hero... Everyone has their own opinion about PA Cyber. Some bad and some good but nobody really knows until you experience it for yourself and once you do, you will see that it changes your life. As I walk across that stage to receive my diploma, I'll look out into the crowd and smile because I know in my heart The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School changed my life and no word or words could ever express how thankful I am for that.
